First 3 Weeks at the Evansville Courier & Press:

I moved to Evansville, Indiana, on August 21st and proceeded to start my first photography internship at the Evansville Courier & Press on August 23rd. I have already hit the 20-day mark of my internship. Time flies by, and I know it will only go faster until my time here is done at the end of November. I will be honest, I have been missing Athens, Ohio, and Ohio University as most of my friends are back in school for fall semester; However, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience the newspaper working-world and the act of living completely on my own for the first time. I get to work along side talented photojournalists every day, who treat me like one of their own, while shooting assignments of all shapes and sizes. I meet people of all ages with stories to share that could fill multiple novels. I come home to my apartment after a long day of shooting, sweaty and smelly, with a smile on my face. I thought I would share some work from the past few weeks to give friends and family an idea of what I have been busy working on. Enjoy!
